The L-HIPs

The band started about 3 years ago when Mike Parker's dad bought a drumset. Graeme Parkes, who alread played guitar and was good friends with Mike, decided at that point they were going to start a band, and Mike was to learn drums. They jammedf through some songs, and made every thing instrumental because neither could sing very well. They wrote a few songs that sounded like more like diarrhia than music over the first year and a half as a 2 man band. When the two of them started writing decent songs, Graeme took up singing in the band (and to this day is not much better than he used to be) and they recruited a good friend of theirs named Hajeir Mazinani to play bass. They played a couple shows in spring 2006 and then spent summer recording, which was follow by a hiatus through the entire school year while Mike was at school out of town.
