Lucciana Costa

Growing up on alternative folk music, being the granddaughter of a jazz great and developing a love for independent rockers have made for some interesting musical influences. I can't truly decide what to say when people ask "what is your music like?" It is words to a piano. It is the little stories that describe our lives. It is everything I've learned from music being involved in my life since I was a tiny baby. It is always changing because it is my life. I have played in blues/rock bands since I was 12, staying up way too late on school nights learning the electricity of performing. I learned classical piano for years until I got so frustrated that I begged to quit. And I did quit, until I learned a couple years later that my passion was real. There is nothing in the world I could ever do except be a musician. From the magic of creating it, to the unexplainable thrill of sharing it with people, that is the kind of music I play. Music that is the love of my life.
