Metaharmony started in the late March of 2006 when Cian O'Neill(drums), and Evan Keys(guitar/vocals) met. Some of their earliest jams I remember included Cream's White Room, Jimi Hendrix's Foxy Lady, Come Together by The Beatles, and for something completely different Don't Push by Sublime. After this stage Evan started showing Cian Some of the music he and the bass player they had at the time Ian McLaren had been playing together (that Evan had wirtten). This was the first time they had all played together music that was composed by themselves. Cian then started writing lyrics for the music, and everything was going so perfectly they started calling themselves a band and thought of the name metaharmony. In the summer of 2007 their current bass player Devon Orr joined giving their music what was missing. Metaharmony is a band that is impossible to define, due to the variety of influences each band member brings to the table. They have experimented with every genre from polka to rap creating music that you cannot experience anywhere else.
