Negative Results formed on January 31st, 2006 with four
determined teenagers who’s plans were to make it ‘big’ in the pop rock music
industry. After several member changes, the band’s only two original members remain
Michael and Helena. Negative Results is also currently looking for a permanent
and experienced bass player.
With a line-up of creative members and a serious
outlook on making it "big", the band got started on writing a series
of songs with their powerhouse vocals and catchy guitar riffs. After playing
for about two months, they were prepared for several gigs around the GTA.
In the spring of 2006 the band recorded their first
few songs. The public's response to their shows and music was the band's first
success. Many fans began memorizing the lyrics to songs such as 'The 8th Deadly
Sin' and 'These Streets'.
In August of the same year, Negative Results played
a show at Mississauga's Playdium
alongside The Big Man Himself and Magneta Lane.
The band's stage presence and talent won them 3rd place in that night's top 3
bands; they would also advance to play a September show with renowned rock band
Silverstein.
The members of Negative Results are currently in
the process of writing and perfecting songs for their demo, which they hope to
release to the public as soon as possible. Slowly but surely gathering a fan base
of family and friends, Negative Results plans on spreading their music with as
many people as possible.
