Summer 2001 marked the nascent of Never Mentioned at the local skatepark. Greg, Adam and Jason lived in Gravenhurst just being the crazy hooligan teens your told not to be by the stereotypical mother. Dave moved to g-hole and started a band called "Burnt Toast" which lasted for about a year. Then in July Adam, Jason and Dave met up by fate at the skatepark, conversing about music and some confidential info. There was a clash and NM played in Dave's garage and room consisting of Jason, Adam, Dan Vallieres (Old BT drummer), and Dave. These were the lazy fun days. Time passed by, and because of internal problems a new drummer was introduced dubbed Greg. This is when the solid line up was formed that never changed from then on. There were journeys, adventures and ruckus runs for the coming period of NM development. This is where tons of AMAZING stories could be put, but resistance to work wins this battle so no stories for j00. After NM had some years under their belt they began to become aware of their surroundings and got in touch with the inner power needed to make some euphonic vibrations. So the sound produced was orgasmic punk rock screamo. :o The band has played loving music since day one, but now the appreciation is so immense that it's just purely intense! Looking up and rockin' out Never Mentioned is looking forward to making an impact on the music scene and leaving a wake of enlightenment on the voyage of bliss.
Thanks for the comment, we sort of broke up but it's nice to know people were digging our stuff. Stay tuned for more when I get around to putting together a new group.
