Digital Noise Control

YES WE CAN LOVE NEW YORK!
Digital Noise Control has roots back in 1989 - 1990 when I was first starting to get involved with using sequencers and samplers on workstations in High School. I'm 35 Now - but sort of took a leave from writing music for about 12 years because I couldn't afford the exact gear I wanted. Now that I have a few pieces of reliable gear to record with, I've put together some good pieces, and with a good friend from Australia, named Aaron Leighton, we managed to put together an album worthy of putting through iTunes. Aaron Leighton is a guitarist from Melbourne Australia who is currently studying library science. He has done some surfing off of Bell's Beach, and has an excellent sounding Fender Stratacaster which I've been able to mix down in Cubase for 3 of the tracks on Sky Wheel. I've also used Sonar LE for a couple of the tracks. As I get more money, I plan to update our gear.

Taking a break today from helping out with a transcription project to assist with Hurricane Gustav called http://www.interdictr. com - I think we succeeded although only time will tell. It is Hurricane season and there are other storms on the way to monitor. God Bless the displaced people of New Orleans Louisianna and surrounding areas. God Speed for a successful and safe return home.

Band members:
Chris Bradley - Roland Juno G Keyboard / Emu X-61 / Cubase / Sonar Aaron Leighton - Fender Strat
Who are your influences?
Acen, Depeche Mode, Apotheosis, Rotterdam Termination Source, Ritchie Hawtin, Moby
What is the first song you learned to play?
I'd have to say it was probably London Bridges on the piano or Chopsticks.
One musician you wish you could meet?
I think I'd like to meet James Blunt and ask him about his experience as a song writer.
As a band or artist, what has been your biggest challenge so far?
Deciding where to start and where to stop. Trying to work at my own pace, and make things happen in order rather than in chaos.
How do you prepare for a gig?
Well I'm working that out now - have only been asked to perform out one other time as of yet, and wasn't quite ready at the time. I think we'll record or use MP3 data on a laptop and I'll perform keyboards over top of it. I may decide to buy or rent a video projector between now and the date of the first performance so that we can show our video work, which has garnered over half a million hits on the internet.
This rocks:
The Red Cross, Barack Obama, Disaster Relief, Understanding That People Are Human
This sucks:
Better Living Through Chemistry, People that Drink Too Much, People that hurt other People
