How do you prepare for a gig?
I decide on a setlist. I then skip multiple periods at school hours prior to said gig, not to rehearse, but to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Excessive and obsessive reheasing has led to nothing good in the past. Though, I also may opt for some last-minute rehearsing on the crowded subway ride to said gig, to inconvenience the elderly who may want the seat my guitar neck obstructs access to. (But not actually.)
