Formed in Novemver of 2006 in a basement, Once I Lived has experienced many changes whithin itself. Going through multiple lineup and name changes, they have found a formula that works. With Chris Allison on lead vocals and lead guitars, Cody Holden on drums and backup vocals, Dave Kronemeyer on Bass, and Mike Govett on rhythm guitars, Once I Lived is poised to take over the metal scene with their unique sound. Their music is influenced heavily by European metal, American metal and elements of Hardcore. The currently untitled demo that is set for release in late MArch is the first studio effort by the band, and is already gaining strong support and wide acclaim. They have been working hard with producer Justin Jesset who is helping to mould their sound. Laced with great variety and skill, this collection of tracks is only a glimpse at what these guys are capable of.

i dont work for supernova anymore, but i remember that in the city finals a while ago you guys had a lot of issues, i tried to deal with them, i showed them to my bosses and had a bunch of meetings, and when you agreed to play another show i was really happy, i just think its weird that you want to diss supernova so much when i really tried to do good by you. its not supernova thats the problem - unless you dont get a prize, then that supernovas fault. i booked all the shows in alberta, and we had local reps who run them, and then we have two guys who work with the venue and staff. we try, if you dont like selling tix, thats totally cool, i get it, but its not the company, its just the reality of a show with 14 bands most of whom are new to the scene and a lot of people trying their best to make things go as smoothly as possible, if you have issues please tell jordan (jordan@supernova.com) and he will get on them asap. in the real world there arent people holding your hand and doing all the leg work for you, so i dont understand what you are expecting. i wasnt trying to dismiss you, i just find it odd that you would play our shows and use our website and talk crap about us the whole time...

and i totally agree that you guys should play bar shows, you can get paid and you dont have to do the ticket thing, its much better for you if you are over 18.
