Pardon My Striptease is a five piece band from Chilliwack, British Columbia blazing a trail down the hard rock highway.
Their self-titled EP was released in Spring 2010 and recorded at Factory Studios with John Maclean and Sheldon Zaharko (Billy Talent, The New Pornographers, Simple Plan). The success of the EP and their live performances earned them a spot as a Top 20 finalist in 99.3 The Fox Seeds contest in 2010.
The single “Pray” was recorded at The Sound Suite with Steve Klassen (These Kids Wear Crowns) and was released on December 5, 2011 in support of BC Children’s Hospital and lead singer Andrew Putt’s daughter Lilee-Jean who was diagnosed with brain cancer. The release peaked at #1 on the iTunes Canada charts and #20 on Billboard Canada Hot 100 garnering the attention of Nickleback who, in a joint effort with their publisher, added $100,000 in donations to the hospital.
Pardon My Striptease are headed back on the road in Spring 2012 and are working hard with Producer/Writer Ryan Dahle (Age of Electric, Limblifter, Hot Hot Heat, k-os) on their next release.
