This Sucks:
Blown amps and girls you can only pick up with a tow truck.
This Rocks:
Loud amps and scantily glad girls
How do you prepare for a gig?
We rehearse regularly every week to the point where the music is 'one' with our subconscious. This way the music just oozes out and is purely genuine in its expression.
As a band or artist, what has been you biggest challenge so far?
Getting exposure to new fans. You can only bring a couple friends and their girlfriends so many times to your gigs. You need exposure to fresh blood - so to speak and a bigger audience.
What is the first song you learnt to play?
Aerosmith's "Walk this Way"
One musician you wish you could meet?
Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath
How many shows you have played?
Several dozen
Who are your influences?
Black Sabbath; Rush; Motorhead; Mahogany Rush; Budgie; Zep; Alice Cooper

PROJECTBLISS'S BIOGRAPHY
The first Project Bliss show was played over 2 years ago. There have been several member changes in that time. The revolving door of Bliss has weeded out previous members as their egos got too big or other commitments sucked their time away from the band. The only stable member has been Les Leoniak who is the guitarist/vocalist and the bands songwriter. The current lineup is pretty solid since the members, other than Les, actually have their own instruments too. "I can't tell you how many degenerates I had to interview who would show up to an audition with no instrument, no means whatsoever and no clue", says Les. After weeding out the homeless applicants you get the band as they are now. "Everyone has quirks - but the current lot are somewhat stable - so I guess we'll make a go of it", says Les. "If I need to, I'll just fire all of them and go acoustic!"
The name 'Project Bliss' was suggested by one of Les' guitar students. The members identified with it as the search for neverending and sometimes elusive 'good times'. There are numerous stories - but there isn't enough space to get into that. We suggest you come to one our shows and then become a part of the Project Bliss saga!
