Americans: Are you registered to vote? 10/11/2008 1:32:12 PM

Just a quick note to all of our American Supernova members... I'm sure most of you, like me, realize that this is a very, very important election you have coming up in November.

One of the reasons that bad presidents such as both of the Bush's have gotten into power is that young people stay home and don't vote. Which is why I'm posting this blog to remind you that if you're registered, vote, and if you're not registered, do it now.

Unlike here in Canada, in many states they don't let you just show up at the voting booth and register on the spot - you have to go and register online beforehand. The deadline is past for a few of you, but most of you can still register... if you DO IT NOW. Here's a really helpful site that will show you what you need to do in your state:

I don't even need to tell you who I think you should vote for... since I'm pretty sure that if you're a member of Supernova.com you're smart enough to make the right choice for yourself.

p.s. Watch for some amazing changes to the site coming your way later this fall... some of the stuff our development team has come up with is going to blow you away. We have also gotten to the bottom of the difficulties some people have had with their profile banners getting distorted - turns out it's Microsoft's fault (they finally admitted it) - so this fix will be launched with the rest of the changes in about a month.
