Miguel Corral, best known as the frontman for Record, singer-songwriter Miguel Corral launched his solo career in the fall of 2003.
While growing up in Santiago, Chile, Corral began playing guitar as a young child, later discovering bass, piano and drums.
In 1999, he formed Record, with Corral assuming the main role of guitarist and vocalist. In the same year Record released their "Living This Time" Demo. Then also began playing live.
Record released four subsequent tracks: "Always Down" in May, "Why" in July, "Faded Roses" and "Untitled" in August 2003. Then "Always Down" and "Faded Roses" begin to be rotated in the radio, until these days.
Record disbanded in 2003, when grappling with the commercial success proved overwhelming to the band's members.
Later Miguel Corral goes it alone, naturally
"Being in a band that's very special and important to me was not something I was imagining that I could recreate, but now it's time to move on" Corral explains.
