The desire to be something different has allowed roguesix to become a rapidly emerging power-pop modern rock quartet, driven by raw talent, charisma and the need to create a uniquely distinct and infectious sound. This buzz worthy band isn't plagued by issues of inexperience. Despite being new to the music scene, roguesix brings with them a wealth of combined musical experience, developed through years of perseverance. Guitarist Paul Rossi, formerly of Voodoo Vox, realized early on that he was interested in experimenting with different styles and genres as a means to developing the new sound he craved. From guitar to the Middle-Eastern oud, Paul has a vast knowledge of everything musical and is not afraid to explore new sounds. Through consistent hard work, Paul was able to bring together a group of like-minded individuals who shared this vision. To fulfill his aspirations, Paul recruited drummer, and friend, Claudio Palusci. Claudio's musical roots are firmly footed in the fundamentals of modern rock. In Claudio, Paul saw an aggressiveness on the drums that would surely add something to the roguesix sound. And for Claudio, Paul’s vision of a band which combined a medley of flowing guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums and poignant lyrics was enough to spark an interest which would lead him back to the music scene, and into the role as the backbone of the roguesix sound. Next, Paul enlisted the musical stylings of Joe Parisi, a versatile musician who combined his ability to play both guitar and bass with a talent for song writing. Meeting by chance through mutual friends, Paul recognized Joe’s innate desire to create something different. Joe brought with him an assortment of performing experience, gathered through his time spent with various bands, and a meticulous attention to detail which further accentuated his creative prowess. Finally, Paul went on a hunt for a vocalist with style, someone who could captivate audiences and leave them spellbound. He found this in Ashley Grafe. It was by virtue of her vivacious personality, lyrical ability and riveting live performances that Ashley was recruited to the roguesix project. In Ashley, Paul saw the perfect frontwoman for the job. In return, Ashley brings an original vocal styling and the ability to write lyrics which transcend age and gender, leaving the listener craving more. With the release of their debut EP, roguesix hopes to captivate audiences with their diverse style, while making their mark on the music scene. And it takes only one listen to realize that they’ve done just that.
