“Power, energy, in your face excitement, high intensity, non-stop rock and roll”, that’s how fans are describing the Hard Hitting Vintage Heavy Metal/Classic Hard Rock band ~ ROUGH JUSTICE

Their hard hitting showcase features cover tunes from music giants; Van Halen, Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Ozzy, Deep Purple and more guitar driven bands. They are planning to add a few Pantera songs due to their fan's demands and have promised everyone Hendrix and Stones tunes…metalized!

While they salute the megawatt icons, they are working on several of their own original ass kicking rock tunes, ready to rip off people’s faces. Fans can anticipate a cd “VERY soon” according to RJ. Their album will include, Blade Queen, Mr. E., Come Down On Ya, Corner of My Eyes and Time Bandit; the band’s show overture, which is dedicated to Brad’s championship racing years. “We are recording NOW…it will be primarily originals and possibly a few covers to spice things up”.

Rough Justice has a growing arsenal of fans and several pounding shows under their belts which include; the Boathouse in Port Rowan, Willow Lake, Randy’s Lounge, Paris Fair, the Ford Plant, J’s Place, Philthy McNasty’s and more; they have upcoming gigs at the Lake Erie Music Fest in St. Thomas on September 29th, the Waterford Pumpkinfest on October 20th and they will be the headlining band at the immensely popular Ghost Encounters weekend at Brantwood Farms on Friday October 26th and Saturday October 27th.

Rough Justice Bios

Drums ~ (Madd Brad) Brad Bridges; 16, only son of Mike and Ruth Bridges, lives in Mt. Pleasant and is in Grade 12 at BCI. He has played drums for 5 years under the guidance of Lino DiClemente. He’s played with many musicians and in a few local bands. Brad’s musical influences are Frank Zappa, Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, King Crimson, and Van Der Graaf Generator. He prefers Avant-garde, experimental, and so-called "progressive rock". Brad likes to add a bit of a jazz flare to his drumming during some of their RJ set lists. TJ reflects “Brad is just Brad. I don't know how to describe him”. The eccentric skins man likes to think of himself as “Always looking ahead to what music has to offer and the totally obscure…I'm the complete lunatic that everyone looks at and goes WHAT? My future is in music. I'm right into the art of composition and music making and I will dedicate my life to music. I'd like nothing more than to have that career be with Rough Justice”.

Bass ~ (The Anchor) TJ Cassidy; 21, son of Brenda & Tim, brother of Kyle and Jordan. The St. John’s Graduate has taught himself how to play over the last 3 ½ years. He credits his musical influences as: Tool, Metallica, A Perfect Circle, and Massive -attack. He prefers listening to Rock, metal, trip-hop, progressive rock. “I like to add cool effects when I'm playing; I play with a pick, which is very unusual”. Brad and Billy say “TJ is extremely dedicated; he is always chilling; he’s the strong silent one in the band. We call him The Zen master and because he’s the senior member, he’s the babysitter”.

Lead Guitar/Vocals ~ (BJ) Billy Minnery, 15, only son of Joan Minnery, grade 10 student at St. John’s College, has been shredding the axe for only 3 ½ years and has quickly been hailed as one of the most talented young guitarists in Southern Ontario. Studying guitar with Dave McWilliams, his influences include; Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Dave Mustaine, Dimebag Darrell, BB King and Mike LaPointe. Brad and TJ both agree, “Billy is an amazing person, born to play guitar, positive and uplifting, always ready for something new, he is the master shredder” Figuratively and literally Billy is the VOICE of Rough Justice. Brad screams “He’s the greatest guitar player on the PLANET…he’s a Prodigy”
