Sabatour

Sabatour is a Vancouver based, five piece ambient rock/trip hop band formed in the spring of 2009. Headed by lead singer Mellisa Mills, the group has dedicated the last year to recording their debut album, entitled The Cure. Produced and composed by DJ Harmonic, the debut album combines beautiful instrumentation with the soul and emotion of a world class vocalist. Utilizing Mellisa’s incredibly diverse and unique vocal range, Sabatour’s music blends elements of rock, blues, jazz, hip hop and electro. Originally, Sabatour began as duo composed of Harmonic and Mellisa. As the quality and complexity of their music developed, a host of other musicians became involved. Having found such an amazing, undiscovered talent, and recognizing her potential, Harmonic built a highly skilled band around Mellisa. Having spent considerable time and effort in the studio, Sabatour is now shifting gears and focusing on rehearsing and promotion. The bands album release party is scheduled for Thursday, May 13th at the Jupiter Lounge. With an aggressive marketing plan, and several other shows already booked for the summer, Sabatour is looking to take Vancouver by storm.
