Sawyerpath

Sawyerpath was a rebirth of myself (Sean Mackay) and Alex Samson when we teamed up with drummer Pete Richard who had already a very good depth in music. His talent, motivation and energy added something new to the band that allowed us to exceed ourselves and grow together as a better band. Afterwards, we started exploring new styles of music such as: Grunge, Alternative Rock and a little bit of metal, along with our old style of punk-rock. So I guess we can say that our style is a blend of Punk and Grunge + our personal perception of music. As a composer, I always try to add new material to each song to keep our music special and Alex is the best advisor I could ever ask for. His smart ideas create a lot of diversity and are a huge asset for us. His cheerful personality and strong assurance always keep us on track. About our name, Sawyer comes from the fictional character Tom Sawyer who was a wise boy that had a particular way of thinking about life. He understood that freedom was the
