Biography

Seventh Gear was originally formed in 2007, but was not complete until June 2008 when the search for a drummer was over and Jordan Best entered the fold as drummer extraordinaire. So far, the band has played a couple shows but plan on recording an EP in early 2009 and getting their music out to the masses as an independent stronghold in the quickly-evolving industry. The band has a desire to change the way people look at themselves and the world around them by using music as a tool.

I'm definitely up for that!I think the entire band would be up for that as well.We're looking to pick up this thing called the Yamaha Audiogram 6 to record some demo tracks with, speaking of recording. it's like $200 and hopefully we'll be able to capture everything we need in only a couple takes and put together a few demos.

Ya i hear that,,were waiting for our jam spot to get finished being built so we can start to practice before we go into the studio to record our cd.Then its gig time!Sooo looking forward to it,maybe we can hook the bands up for a gig or two come spring.

That's pretty awesome.We've been playing together for about six months, and I'm trying to get as many gigs lined up as possible now. It's been a really fast six months though. I don't know where all the time has gone.

Yeah no kidding, especially in Brantford. We're still doing okay where we are; we're out in Guelph and winter's hit here, but not like it has elsewhere. Which is really good. Makes life a lot easier. How long have you guys been playing together?
