How do you prepare for a gig?
Emmett worries and gets nervous and then prays that we don't screw up our songs. Malcolm gets excited. Travis gets in the zone. Dustin just kind of stays the same. Then we step on stage and destroy everything.
As a band or artist, what has been you biggest challenge so far?
Our biggest challenge so far...either living up to our perfectionist expectations, or getting gigs. Please give us gigs. Please.
What is the first song you learnt to play?
Hell Song by Sum 41
One musician you wish you could meet?
There's way too many to pick just one.
How many shows you have played?
I think 6.
Who are your influences?
Anything and everything that we hear.

SHORTCIRCUIT'S BIOGRAPHY
Over a millenium ago, lightning struck the tallest rock of Stonehenge. Out of the ashes of the fallen boulder emerged the three members of Short Circuit: Travis Jaques, Malcolm Cottle, and Emmett O’Reilly. Withstanding the test of time, they battled with, and defeated, many legendary heroes. They harnessed the power of these heroes and applied it to their vicious form of rock music. Or something like that. But seriously, we started August 7, 2006, when Emmett and Malcolm were jamming and invited Travis over. It all sort of clicked right there. Theo joined in January of 2007 on bass, but departed from the band in early 2008. But then a curious thing happened. A good friend of ours, Dustin Smith had been jamming with us for a while. One day, while casually chatting about our origins, we discovered that he had emerged from Stonehenge also, and we had been seperated at birth by a tribe of wizards. We saw fit to invite him into the band, and now here we are! If you’d like us to play somewhere, or want to praise or complain to us, e-mail short_circuit_music@hotmail.com, we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
You have the power, now use it. Vote for us!
