Showbiz is a Alternative, Funk, Metal band from Edmonton, AB and looking for New Fans
The group of friends now known as Showbiz began near the small town of Gunn outside of Edmonton, Alberta in 2009
Friends in High School, the group soon began enjoying music together in a small loft above a shop at drummer Cole Cross's home.
In this cramped, uncomfortable space, a Band was formed, and seeds of a greater future filled with the fortune and glory of a true rock'n'roll band soon began to form in their hearts and minds.
It was a long, difficult journey beset on all sides with crazy and beautiful visions of grandeur and subsequent slaps back into reality by every force known to music.
On Janurary 1, 2011, the band began seriously creating music with a focus on performing.
This is the result.
Now a developed band, Showbiz preforms regularily in the Edmonton Area, and is currently in the process of recording a EP in a new, more blue, basement in Edmonton.
