One winner each from Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria, along with two winners from Vancouver, will be entered into an online vote. The band that accumulates the most votes within two weeks will win the Grand Prize.
This year's Grand Prize will be ultimate bragging rights, in addition to a four-city mini-tour around Western Canada. Your band will be treated like the rockstars that they are, and will be headlining the whole tour. In addition to this, Clickity Clank Music Bank, a Division of Kleurvision Inc. a North American agency for all of your creative needs, will be providing (Valued at $960*):
- Branding/logo identity solution
- Style guide developed for logo application and use
- Micro-Tour Merch Pack (24 white or black T's with one colour/one location screen and 200 1" pins).
- One T-shirt design
- One sticker design 3x 4"
Last year, we had four bands (one from each of Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton) travel to Kelowna to play with the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Supernova’s Band on the Run program in the west coast is winding down to the Finals. Which band will reign as the Western Band on the Run Champ?
When the Finals in each of Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton have wrapped up and the winners have been decided, the winning bands will be entered into an online voting poll where YOU (as the fan) will decide the best band of both provinces!
The voting poll will open on Friday, June 29th @ 12:00AM EST and will remain open for one (1) week, closing on Thursday, July 5th @ 11:59PM EST.
Fans will have a choice of five (5) different bands:
- Vancouver – 2 bands
- Victoria – 1 band – 5 Minute Wait
- Calgary – 1 band
- Edmonton – 1 band
The winner* of the Western Band on the Run program will be crowned on Friday, July 6th @ 2:00PM.
Please note that all dates and times are subject to change!
*Supernova validates all votes to discourage dishonest voting. #1 band when poll closes will not be an accurate indication of the winning band. Winning band will be announced when all votes have been processed and false ballots have been tossed out.
