Sing City Lights is a collaboration of very different styles. The improvised orchestration of grunge, punk, alternative, emo, metal, rock ability, and a hint of classical gives birth to fun, catchy, fast paced, aggressive shout it out and sing along music. The band formed in 2006 and has been well received by audiences all over the Calgary area. So well received that every time they play a show they always have masses of people looking to see them again, be it fans, other bands, or the venues themselves. The three founding members (bassist Josh Bailey, guitarist and lead singer Thomas Kraemer, and drummer Rob Pailer) were later joined by keyboardist Craig ’the keys’ Jones there by heightening their sound to a whole new level. Josh Bailey quit and after some searching was replaced by Tyler Kocian. Deciding to further their sound they moved Tyler Kocian to guitar and hired Gavin Howard on bass. With song writing comparable to bands like Fall out boy, the Foo Fighters, and Greenday it seems that anyone can appreciate the fun catchy and soul-full songs of Sing City Lights.
