Propaganda (Band Name Changing Soon)

Propaganda: the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent. _______________________________________________________________ The band formed in roughly mid 2007, when Eric, Corey & Tyler were most likely fucking around in the music room at Flamborough Centre School (FCS). Being in the school band, Eric developed many great drumming (and/or) banging skills with the FC La La's. Tyler joined the school band in 2007 as a saxophone/guitarist player. Corey started out in trombone player, and was a member of the school band, but then in mid 2007 gave up to learn the bass guitar. While Eric and Tyler were jammin' at school, Corey then got interest and was asked to join the the rockin' twosome which then made them the rockin' threesome ;) . At this point the band was called "REVENGE", then later, "OCULAR DENTIST." "ABSOLUTE ZERO" then "PROPAGANDA" were also the bands' name, but had to be changed due to other bands having them. Tas Fraser was a new student at FCS in the new 2008 school year. Mid year, a talent show was being organized, and the threesome needed a singer to enter. After observing for a week or two, Tasmine stuck out of the crowd, and was then asked to join. The talent show was the first show the band had ever played, and the song was Metallica's Entersandman. After the show, Tas was officially in the band, which has lead to the present time, now going into grade 10 at WDHS highschool. Practices have become slightly difficult to have, but everyone one is always fun and exciting. New songs have been accomplished as well. They have so far played ( in our 2 years) at the El Mocambo(Toronto), Absinthe(Hamilton), FCS in june-09, Sound Academy(Toronto), Playdium(Mississauga). They have played different parties for friends and are currently working on their first, self-titled, demo album, and should be done by February 2010

Band Members

Tyler "The tree" Wickens: The tallest and oldest looking of the four, who weird enough- is the youngest. Tyler plays guitar in the band, and sometimes its surprising if he doesnt break a string at a show..or..the show rehersal.

Corey "Finger Wizard" Hughes: Corey plays bass guitar in the band. He enjoys climbing on roofs, wearing masks and throwing roof shingles at the singer. He's also one of the founding members of the band.

Eric "Rico" Robinson: Eric plays drums/percussion in the band. He takes pride in his excessive banging and showing off his "abs". His hobbies consist of stripping while one is recording, and cracking innapropriate jokes. He is one of the founding members in the band, and is self taught.

Tasmine"Rob Zombie" Fraser: Tas is the vocalist in the band, she writes the lyrics to the band's songs. Tas joined the band in grade 8 (2008) when the 3 members needed a singer in the FC Talent Show. Tas is the First and only singer the band has had.
