THAMIXTAPES'S BIOGRAPHY
Begat in early 2002 in skeleton form by Tom Legge and Kyle Gray, played first show at high school assembly in 2005. Began rehearsing as a distractional zoo band while all members (Legge, Gray, drummer Fort Ferrari, guitarist Z. Brown) worked as monkey handlers. Now a worldwide conglomerate corporation with branding on a myriad products in Japan The Mixtapes are the ultimate underdog story. We rose from piles of monkey shit to the skyscrapers of Wall Street in just under 5 years with nothing but Squire guitars and two Rod Stewart albums.
