The Faceplants

THE FACEPLANTS HISTORY LESSON: In 2005 Daniel Bottyan and Garrett Ward wanted to start a band with a ska/punk feel like none other. While Daniel sang and played bass with Garrett playing guitar, they needed to find a drummer who could lay down a fast punk beat and vibes for a ska beat. After looking very hard they finally found a drummer (Kyle Wallis). Once Daniel and Garrett wrote about 5 original songs they started getting input from the newly found drummer. In 2007 a new line up was formed with Daniel on Bass and vocals, Garrett on Guitar and back up vocals, Ziggy on Guitar and back up vocals and Kyle on Drums. By then THRASH (the original band name) had become more experienced and have won over many fans maintaining the punk/ska feel that Daniel and Garrett first created. Now in 2008, the final line was created with Daniel (bass, vocals), Garrett (Guitar, Back up vocals) and two brand new members, Kurt Smith (drums) and Justin Arseneault(Keyboards, sax, back up vocals).With this formation and sporting a new name, THE FACPLANTS now focus on putting on the best show they can do!
