The Gulls

The Gulls were started by Max Trinz and were originally a blues backup band in which Max and Hary are the only remaining original members. Soon the lineup (and style) changed drastically. After going through a drummer and several singers in about a months time The Gulls lineup was finally set it stone. Max Trinz on guitar and vocals, Hary Crerar on bass and Tim Longhino on drums.

The Gulls quickly began working on some very interesting music which blended pop punk and folk to create a set of short, catchy songs that were driven by a tight rythm section.

After practicing together for several months, The Gulls were ready to play live. They played in late september at a "rehearsal" session at a friends house. On Oct 12 they played at a supernova show at El Mocambo. The Gulls currently have 2 more shows set up, one on Nov 10th at The Kathedral (emergenza) and one on Nov 23rd at The Opera House (supernova). The Gulls begin recording their debut CD on Nov 17th at Mastermind Studios in Hamilton. It will be a 6 song EP and will be hopefully fully mastered on Dec 22nd. The CD will hopefully come out some time soon after that.
