History was made when two twin brothers met a kid named Kyle Wood on their hockey team, the next year they met that same kid in their new high school, at the time Fraser and Cameron were already in a rocking band called Exit 13, but things changed and Exit 13 broke up, Kyle was really into drumming and was getting decent, one day the three guys got together at Fraser and Cameron's basement to play killer tracks by Blink 182, Nofx, and Billy Talent. After this unforgetable expreience, the three decided to form a band under the name Almost 3. Almost 3 started playing shows with other local bands in the scene, however one year later after the band formed, they added Greg Cohen to play play guitar along side Fraser and also sing lead. At this time we switched our name to The Marxists.
When we started off, we wanted to be a punk rock band, however we've grown up and changed more into a indie rock band, however we're looking for a horn section so we can turn Ska. If you no anyone looking to form a band in the Toronto area...contact us on our myspace..www.myspace.com/themarxists...or on facebook
Fraser Fitzgerald- Lead Guitar/vocals
Cameron Fitzgerald-Bass/vocals

Keep it real
