We each individually recorded using one compressed mic (the ZOOM Q3 to be exact). This mic is also the same device we use to record our videos for Youtube. After we record each individual track, we mix the them on Audacity (a free music mixing software). All the extra "sounds" and "colours" are added after the main solid tracks (bass, keyboard, guitar and drums). Unfortunately, the drumset was one track due to using only one mic. But Overall, the sound was pretty decent, considering we recorded out of a living room (haha).
