About Tuesday Social
Tuesday Social began in a little garage in Southampton. Kevin Carey had asked Chris Rice to come and help record some guitar work. Brothers Bryce and Ty Goertzen found their way into the garage somehow. Luckily they knew how to play bass and drums. After coming up with a bunch of heavy metal band names, Kevin finally suggested "Tuesday Social" because that was the only day of the week the band got together to make "music" and have a "social".
After months of jamming, and playing concerts and trying desperately to fight off girls, Tuesday Social became one of those local bands. Bryce became to busy with other things and other bands to continue on with the Social. Bryce and Ty respectfully left in January of 2007.
With the founders still in the band, it was only right that the name "Tuesday Social" lived on. Without question, Adam Cheeseman accepted the request to join the band on drums. Weeks to follow, Chris Yenney joined in February for vocals and piano.
A few months later, the first recorded track "My Nightmare" gained popular myspace and Purevolume success, and gained at least 500-1000 plays a day. After a few shows as the new Tuesday Social, Tuesday Social sadly spilt again.
A few months later, after a long Hibernation, Tuesday Social is once again ready to rock with Lead Vocalist Mike Buchanan. Make sure you lock your doors because this band is back to steal car stereos once again to support themselves.
