Typo is a four-piece group straight out of Woodbridge, ON. Since 2006, they’ve been rocking all of the local venues in the GTA. Typo calls up the aggressive energy of Against Me! with the familiar sounds of Green Day in their prime. Lead singer Ulten Hopkins sings of what it’s like to grow up, fall in love and be trampled by the man, making Typo’s music the kind anyone can relate to. At any show, you’re guaranteed to hear something you can understand and will want to rock out to. Fellow band mates Cian, Calin and Alex are all about the music, putting on an incredible show that will keep you coming back. Typo can be found playing their breakout single “Obsolete” at The Opera House, The Reverb, The Wreck Room and pretty well every Toronto club the best independent bands are found. The band has won numerous Fan Choice Awards and has a tight Toronto following. By popular demand, Typo is releasing an EP later this year.
