Super EXtreme was formed in October 2005 by drummer James Marshall, guitarists Matt Primeau and Fuji Mooney and guitarist-vocalist James Loucks. James Loucks moved to bass in early 2006. With this lineup, we played Their first show at the Mesa Luna Battle of the Bands (run by Supernova), and our second at the Dogwood Pavillion Band on the Run event. Neither were truly successful.
Bassist Derek Cooper joined in August that same year, and together we played at Supernova's September 2006 Battle of the Bands. Cooper quit that October and was promptly replaced by another bassist, completing the final band lineup. We played at the Charles Best Secondary Talent Show with great success, giving an encore performance.
However, as we matured musically and as a group, we sought a more mature reputation. With this we assert our dedication to music and art.
