With their unique blend of skate punk, 90's pop-punk, hardcore, and a pinch of ska and jazz, Web Society has exploded onto the Hamilton punk rock scene with much enthusiasm and energy. Having graced stages at such places as Crash Landing Punk and Music Store, the Doors Pub, and the legendary This Ain't Hollywood, Web Society has been an active part of the Hamilton, appearing on lineups at prominent punk rock shows including several Sunday Slamfests put on by Hammer City Records and Jamie Problem of The Problem Children. Formed in 2010 by high school friends Brandon Kummer on guitar and vocals and Jeffery Mills on bass guitar, Web Society has been active in putting on high-energy shows filled with emotion and excitement. The recent addition of drummer Stephen Petrina has resulted in even more energy and raw power as the band has begun exploring the genres of ska, jazz, and good old-fashioned hardcore punk. Their songs address issues in the modern world, ranging from everyday struggles to politics. They bring to the table a unique breed of attitude stemming from suburban life.
