Without Sound

The formation of Without Sound all started when Tom Watson had a dream. The dream was to make music for all people to hear and love. So desperate to forma a band he looked to his high school to find some band mates. After going through a couple drummers and bassists he finally found Luke Robison. Luke was intent to join the band and started practising with tom on some cover songs while tom was still writing some originals. Tome then needed to find a bassist. While he was in guitar class he became friends with Ryan Miltenburg. Tom then asked Ryan to join the band as tha bassist. Ryan was reluctant to do so but said he knew of a Bassist, Luke Parker. Ryan then suggested he could be the lead guitar while Tom becomes the vocals and rythme. Ryan then asked Luke to join the band. After assembling the 4, they started to practise covers and a few originals. After playing a few shows and having a hard time getting everyone together for practices, Ryan was cut from the band. It was a joint band decision. Since then the band has been writing new material, and started recording this september to release a demo some time this fall. Where did the name come from? We were searching for a name for a long time. We first decided on UnAnimated but were disappointed when we found out that a Sweedish Metal band already had that name. So we then began searching again. One day tom was listening to Motion City Soundtrack when he noticed that Without Sound could be a good band name. He then asked The two Lukes and they came to an aggreement that it would be a good name.
