The Joe Maxim Band is a six-piece band situated in Winnipeg Manitoba. With a mix of alternative, rock, blues, and a splash of country, JMB's versatile sound brings something new to the crowd at every gig. The original members, Curt (Vocals/lyricist), Cal (lead guitar/Vocals), originated from the Slowhand band who played the circuit back in the 80's and went on to win Best Aboriginal Band 2000 in Toronto at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards.
Smokin' Joe (Guitar), Andy (Drums), and Chris (bass), have spent the last year developing their unique sound and working at bringing out JMB's first CD titled "Saviour". Most recent yet youngest and newest addition to the JMB boys would be Blaine (fiddle-boy) Constant.
